After an impressive victory last week, that halted a three game losing streak, Hawthorn again face an almighty test when they tackle the Adelaide Crows in Tasmania on Friday Night.
Coach Sam Mitchell's Hawks will be without pivotal contributors James Worpel (Quad) and Jack Scrimshaw (Ankle).

Worpel remains a mainstay for the Hawks, averaging 20 disposals and 5 clearances thus far in 2025. While Scrimshaw has suffered a largely effected 2025 campaign, managing only the seven games.
The silver lining however, the inclusion of promising big-bodied midfielder Henry Hustwaite per Swerve Media reporter Adem Savran. Who has been incredibly stiff to be held out of this exciting Hawk’s outfit, only managing the three senior games in 2025.

Hustwaite will provide reinforcement to the midfield that has severely underperformed over the past month, as the young star has notched several impressive performances at Box Hill in the VFL.
Adelaide will make the trip to Tasmania to solidify themselves as perennial contenders and to ultimately put the competition on notice.
They are the 4th ranked team in the competition for tackles, while also boasting impressive scoring numbers across the season. Encompassed by several scoring threats from Talls: Walker, Fogarty and Thilthorpe, and the smalls at ground level Rachele and Keays.

Henry Hustwaite in an interview with Savran suggested that the Hawks are expecting a fierce encounter, and that there is as much an importance on navigating crows’ pressure, as there is on applying strong pressure of their own.
So the key to their success is simple, the pressure must be firm, and consistent. As despite a victory last week, the Hawks have plenty of work to do, as they are - 61 tackles compared to their opponents in the last three games.
